The ideal candidate for this position must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. The administrative assistant will support the Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO) in the daily operation of the clinic. Daily duties will include scheduling patients, checking patients in for appointments, communicating with referral sources, and answering incoming calls as well as clerical duties— to include copying, faxing, e-mailing, scanning, and filing documents. All of these duties must be performed in a time-efficient manner. Excellent communications skills must be exhibited via phone and in person. The administrative assistant must also present a professional image in both voice and appearance. The administrative assistant will work to uphold the culture and reputation of Orthotic and Prosthetic Clinics of America in all daily operations; including relationship building with referral sources and clients.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
* Assists with insurance verifications and prior authorizations.
* Scheduling patients.
* Answering phone calls.
* Filing, typing, copying, scanning etc.
* Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
* Supports the OPCA team with a professional approach to all business needs.
* Ensures proper operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment.
* Maintains office supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
* Makes travel arrangements for senior staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.

Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
